Exodus 4:19-20

Biblical Context

God tells Moses to return to Egypt because those who sought his life are dead. Moses takes his wife and sons, sets them on an ass, and returns to the land of Egypt with the rod of God in his hand.

Neville's Inner Vision

In the inner theatre of your consciousness, God speaks as I AM: go back into your Egypt, but fear has died, and you are now protected by a solid, inner truth. The death of those who sought thy life is a symbolic release from past fears—no longer pursuing you in your imagination. Moses returning with his wife and sons upon an ass signifies moving forward with inner commitments and humility, not with vanity, and carrying the rod of God signifies that a divine idea—an unshakeable state of consciousness—now governs your actions. The journey from Midian to Egypt is a journey of manifestation, where you enter the old arena with a new instrument: the immutable truth of God’s presence in you. This is the act of faith: you carry the rod, you step forward, and you allow the I AM to reshape the seen world by the certainty of your inner state. Your practice is to assume the fulfilled thing is now real in your life and feel it as you move.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and assume you have already returned to your own Egypt with your inner family and your rod of God; feel the protection and power of the I AM guiding your steps.
