Neville's Inner Vision
To the aware reader, this passage is a map of inner circulation. Moses stands not as a historical figure, but as the voiced mind that receives your silent contributions. The sanctuary is your state of awareness, the altar your heart's center. The offerings are the thoughts, feelings, and imaginal acts you freely release into the storehouse of consciousness to nourish the work of your inner temple. When the children of Israel bring free offerings every morning, it is showing the habit of faith: you wake and choose again to supply your inner sanctuary with that which is needed for the work of manifestation. The money, the materials, the blessing—these are symbols for the substance you provide to the idea of yourself as complete and whole. In Neville's teaching, God is I AM, this awareness; your imagination is the means by which you refurbish the sanctuary. So the act of giving is really a giving to your present state of consciousness, ensuring the temple remains functional for revelation. Your daily offering maintains the inner atmosphere through which truth can appear.
Practice This Now
Imaginatively, assume the feeling that your sanctuary already contains all you require and freely offer it back to the I AM. Do this every morning, revising any sense of lack until it feels real.
