Biblical Context
Exodus 36:27-30 describes the tabernacle’s westward framework: eight boards joined at corners, secured with rings, and set on silver sockets.
Neville's Inner Vision
Within your inner garden, the eight boards stand in the westward light of awareness, the two corner boards for each side binding the whole structure. In this vision, the rings speak of a steady, living adhesion—an act of consciousness where the mind gathers its faculties into one ring: I AM that I AM. The sockets of silver are purification and readiness; they anchor the boards to a silver bed of faith and truth, so no breeze of doubt can tilt the temple you are becoming. Therefore, the presence of God is not outside but within—your consistent alignment of perception to the one idea that you are always the perceiver and the world is but a reflection thereof. The assembly across the corners teaches covenant loyalty: your commitment to a holy order of inner life, where thoughts, feelings, and choices are fitted to the divine pattern. When you revise misalignment and hold steadfast in the assumption that this inner tabernacle already stands, the outer events rearrange to reflect your inner architecture. The physical details become symbols for the spiritual practice of conscious construction.
Practice This Now
Practice: Sit quietly, close your eyes, and imagine placing six boards on the west of your inner tabernacle and two corner boards, each socket snug with silver light. Feel the ring of unity around them and declare softly, I AM here now; revise any doubt until it feels true.
