Moses quickly bows toward the earth and worships, a posture of reverent humility before God.
Neville's Inner Vision
Exodus 34:8 is not a man bowing to a distant sky, but a moment you wake inside to the I AM. Moses does not bow to please a deity outside him; he demonstrates a state of consciousness: the I AM present as the ground of all life, now made manifest as reverence. The word 'made haste' signals the urgency of turning from the noise of the external world into the inner temple of awareness where God dwells. To worship is to align your attention with the truth that you are that I AM, and the world you see is but the dream of your own inner assumption. When you bow your head toward the earth, you are not performing a ritual; you are consenting to the divine reality within you, letting your inner light override doubt, fear, and need. True worship thus arises from humility and trust: you accept that your awareness creates your experience, and your imagination is, in effect, the hand that shapes reality. Sit in stillness and feel that the whole universe is unfoldment from your I AM, and your life will begin to reflect that truth.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes, bow inwardly, and declare 'I am' as the ground of all being. In that assurance, revise any doubt and feel your outer world gently harmonizing with the inner worship you already are.
