Inner Anointing Oil Alignment
Exodus 30:22-25 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The LORD instructs Moses to make a holy anointing oil from several spices and olive oil. This oil is to sanctify and set apart the tabernacle and those who serve within it for holy duty.
Neville's Inner Vision
The spices and oil are not external ritual pieces but symbols of inner states of consciousness. Myrrh points to purification whereby transformed pain becomes sweetness; cinnamon embodies discernment and balanced attention; calamus invites the breath that awakens memory and presence; cassia signifies integrity, grounding intention in action. The oil, prepared after the art of the apothecary, is the anointing of awareness—the I AM within that consecrates the self for holy use. When you engage with this image, you are not petitioning an outside God but recognizing that God is the I AM you already are. The act of anointing becomes a revision in consciousness: you affirm you are already sanctified, already dwelling with Presence, and let that reality permeate every moment and circumstance.
Practice This Now
Imaginative Act: Sit in quiet and imagine gathering the spices—myrrh, cinnamon, calamus, cassia—and olive oil, then anoint yourself with the inner oil while declaring, 'I AM Presence now sanctifies me.' Feel holiness move through you as real as breath.
