Exodus 3:12-15

Biblical Context

God promises Moses that He will be with him and gives the name I AM, signaling that the divine presence is an inner state rather than a distant event. The token is an assurance that the mission is already supported by the living awareness within.

Neville's Inner Vision

Notice how the text centers not on a distant deity, but on the I AM that you are conscious of in this moment. The token given to Moses is not an external miracle alone, but an inner assurance: God will be with you because you are now the living state that speaks. When God says I AM THAT I AM, He is naming awareness itself, the constant, unaltered presence that cannot be defined by circumstance. The question 'What is his name?' becomes a call to awaken to your own naming of reality: what you are willing to call forth in you, here and now. The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob is the memory you hold in mind, the fidelity of your inner I AM that endures generation to generation. To Moses, and to us, the instruction is the same: assume the state that would produce the outside event you seek, and it shall be; the mountains become mountains of consciousness, not places to travel. Your deliverance from Egypt is the shift from fear to unwavering awareness.

Practice This Now

Imaginative act: In quiet, repeat I AM with conviction, feel it as your present actuality. Imagine you are delivering your inner people from limitation by speaking from that I AM as if you have already completed the mission.
