Read Exodus 3 in context

Scripture Focus

12And he said, Certainly I will be with thee; and this shall be a token unto thee, that I have sent thee: When thou hast brought forth the people out of Egypt, ye shall serve God upon this mountain.
Exodus 3:12

Biblical Context

Exodus 3:12 records God’s assurance to Moses: I will be with you, and this will be a sign you were sent. In the verse, future worship on this mountain follows deliverance.

Neville's Inner Vision

Observe that the 'I AM' speaks within; the exterior scene is but a projection of your inner state. When God says I will be with you, He is the assertion that the consciousness that you are, that which you call 'I' or 'I AM', embraces this mission. The token is not a mere external signal; it is the assurance that your present state of being is sufficient to accomplish the task. Egypt is your old bondage - the habitual thought that you are separate from God, the sense of limitation. The mountain is the present position of worship, the act of turning attention to the inner presence where the I AM resides. As you identify with this inner presence, you are literally bringing forth your own exodus: releasing old beliefs and guiding the inner 'people' of desire toward expression in form. The moment you rest in I AM, you discover that you are sent to heal, lead, and worship from within. The mountain becomes your altar, and service to God becomes the natural outcome of your realized state.

Practice This Now

Imaginative act: Sit a moment and repeat, 'I AM with thee; I am with all I seek to bring forth.' Then feel the presence in your chest and imagine leading your 'people' out of limitation toward worship on this inner mountain.
