Biblical Context
The second ram ritual consecrates Aaron and his sons by blood on the ear, hand, and foot and oil, sanctifying them and their garments before the altar.
Neville's Inner Vision
Exodus 29:19-21 invites a living consecration in the theater of the mind. The second ram is your next assumed state, a reality you can feel by imagination. Aaron and his sons are your inner faculties—the mind (head), the will (hands), and movement (feet)—each brought into alignment under the I AM. When you lay hands on the ram’s head, you are choosing to identify with that higher state; killing the ram in imagination dissolves the old self into the new you that already exists in consciousness. The blood on the right ear signifies listening through the ear of truth, filtering every inner voice by divine discernment. The blood on the thumb and great toe anchors your action and direction to this state, so your deeds flow from the established consciousness rather than fear. Sprinkling the blood and anointing oil on Aaron and his garments shows that this sacred life saturates the temple of your body and your outer life, not as ritual relic but as living habit. The hallowing is the moment the I AM asserts itself—you're holy, present, and God expressing through you.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and imagine placing your hands on the ram's head, then visualize the blood marking your ear, thumb, and great toe, and the oil blessing your garments; declare, I am consecrated and present.
