Biblical Context
Exodus 26:31-34 describes a woven veil separating the holy place from the most holy. Behind it sits the ark, crowned by the mercy seat, marking a sacred boundary within the sanctuary.
Neville's Inner Vision
Within the temple of your mind, the veil is not a prohibition but a delineation: the outer life, with its colors and duties, stands before the threshold, while the inner throne of I AM waits beyond. The blue, purple, scarlet, and linen are not mere cloth but the colored states of consciousness you inhabit—faith, regal authority, desire for purity, and clarity of form—woven and guarded by cherubim as the guards of your highest truth. The four pillars symbolize four points of awareness sustaining a sacred space where you refuse to mix the holy with the common until you have entered with reverence. To hang the veil under the taches is to appoint time and attention to an inner chamber; behind it lies the ark of the testimony—your innermost law and memory of who you really are. The mercy seat upon the ark is the grace you feel when you consent to the Presence here and now. When you maintain this interior boundary and repeatedly assume the state of Presence, you do not change God; you change your level of awareness, and life rearranges to match the inner sanctuary you have dared to inhabit.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes, declare 'I AM' Presence, and envision the veil within your mind; on the far side, bring forth your ark—the inner law of your true nature—and let the mercy-seat of grace fill your daily life.
