Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The sight of the LORD's glory appears as devouring fire on the mountain; Moses enters the cloud and stays there for forty days.
Neville's Inner Vision
Imagine the scene as a state of consciousness, not a history lesson. The glory that looks like devouring fire is the intense presence of I AM waking within you. The top of the mount is the peak of your awareness, where attention lifts above the noise of the world. The children of Israel see fire and tremble; the inner you notices how outward reactions burn away into silence. Moses stepping into the cloud is your decision to withdraw attention into the subconscious workshop of imagination; there, unseen forces of the mind operate, aligning your inner states with the divine idea you hold. The cloud is not fog but the boundary where belief yields to mystery; in that space you are taken up beyond ordinary time. Forty days and forty nights signify a complete inner term, a full cycle of revision and renewal, after which the I AM stands unshaken in its own glory. If you permit this inner ascent, the external signs of limitation melt, and your life begins to reflect the truth you have imagined. You are the I AM on the mount, witnessing the fire, and becoming that radiant reality.
Practice This Now
Imaginative act: Assume I am on the mount of God; feel the fire of awareness at the crown and breathe 40 breaths, dwelling in that Presence until doubt dissolves.
