Gradual Inheritance of Land

Exodus 23:29-30 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Exodus 23 in context

Scripture Focus

29I will not drive them out from before thee in one year; lest the land become desolate, and the beast of the field multiply against thee.
30By little and little I will drive them out from before thee, until thou be increased, and inherit the land.
Exodus 23:29-30

Biblical Context

God promises to drive them out gradually; the land is not removed all at once but becomes available as people grow in awareness and increase in number.

Neville's Inner Vision

Let this verse be a map of the mind. The inhabitants are fears and old identities clinging to your consciousness. God will drive them out not all at once but by little and little as your inner state expands. When you dwell in I AM awareness you do not act from lack but from the certainty that the land is increasing with your rising consciousness. The process is a revision of limitation by persistent feeling and imagined possession. You remove belief after belief until the terrain of your mind is cleared enough for new possibilities to take root. The word increase points to your growing identity, and the land you inherit is the image of your awakened life proving true in outward form.

Practice This Now

Practice: Sit quietly and breathe in the I AM. Revise the current limitation into I already possess the land, and feel it real for a full minute.
