Read Exodus 23 in context

Scripture Focus

27I will send my fear before thee, and will destroy all the people to whom thou shalt come, and I will make all thine enemies turn their backs unto thee.
28And I will send hornets before thee, which shall drive out the Hivite, the Canaanite, and the Hittite, from before thee.
Exodus 23:27-28

Biblical Context

God says He will go before you, destroy your enemies, and cause them to turn away; He will also send hornets to drive out the peoples before you.

Neville's Inner Vision

Your inner world is the battlefield and vehicle of this promise. When you acknowledge the I AM as your awareness, the fear named here is not a threat but a signal that you have awakened to a new state. The words 'I will send my fear before thee' become: you erect a sentinel of awareness that loosens old conditions by the act of naming them as states of consciousness. The 'enemies' turning their backs symbolize any habit, lack, or condition you have believed must stand between you and your desire. The hornets are not external armies but restless thoughts, distractions, and stubborn feelings that clear old soil. As you dwell in the feeling of your I AM—immeasurable, unconditioned, and present—you invite the inner army to move before you, dissolving resistance and creating space for the new order to take root. The outer scene then follows: what you once feared complies, and the path opens as you remain faithful to your inner revision. Reality bends to your settled, effortless conviction.

Practice This Now

Imaginative act: Sit quietly, assume the I AM is going before you; revise: 'All limits are dissolved.' Then, feel that presence until the imagined scene confirms your new state.
