God's Gaze Within Israel
Exodus 2:25 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Exodus 2 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
God looks on the people of Israel and treats them with respect; this reveals the divine regard as an inner truth of your own consciousness.
Neville's Inner Vision
Picture the people of Israel not as a distant nation but as the inner forms of your own consciousness—your desires, your promises, your covenant longings. When scripture says God looked upon them and had respect unto them, read it as the I AM, your realized awareness, turning its full light toward these inner states. The gaze is not a judgment but a confirmation that these states are seen, named, and held within a covenant of mercy. This Presence never leaves you; it is always attentive. The 'looking' is a conditioning of your mind: as you dwell in the awareness that you are seen with affection, your fear dissolves into trust; your energies gather into purpose; your sense of separation yields to unity with the divine 'I' that is always there. Begin from the conviction that your inner people receive respect from the I AM, and you will notice the outer world bending to reflect that inner alignment.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and assume you are already seen and cherished by the I AM. Feel the divine gaze resting on your inner Israel, and silently affirm, 'I am seen, I am cherished, the I AM looks upon me with mercy.' Do this for a minute, letting the feeling sink into your bones.
