Neville's Inner Vision

Verse 16 speaks that the LORD will wage war with Amalek from generation to generation. In the Neville mode of seeing, Amalek is not a tribe but a stubborn attitude within you—the creeping fear, the memory of lack, the habit of resistance to your higher nature. The war is the inner friction that keeps you from accepting your oneness with the I AM. You do not conquer others; you claim dominion by accepting yourself as the wish fulfilled, realizing that the old self is not real in the light of awareness. The covenant loyalty refers to staying faithful to the awareness that God is within, not to the ego's timetable. Therefore the perpetual warfare is a sign that your consciousness is alive and forming. When you revise your narrative and imagine the end already present, you short-circuit the Amalek impulse, letting the generation-to-generation claim melt away in the radiant assurance of I AM. So you live as if you are already free, and the outer history follows the reform of your inner state.
