Read Exodus 17 in context

Scripture Focus

15And Moses built an altar, and called the name of it Jehovahnissi:
16For he said, Because the LORD hath sworn that the LORD will have war with Amalek from generation to generation.
Exodus 17:15-16

Biblical Context

Moses builds an altar and names it Jehovahnissi. He proclaims that the LORD will have war with Amalek from generation to generation.

Neville's Inner Vision

In the vault of your consciousness, Jehovahnissi becomes the banner you place over every circumstance. The altar is a decision of awareness, a fixed point where you acknowledge that the I AM is your true state and the foe you face is not a person but fear, doubt, or habit—Amalek arising as inner resistance. The LORD's vow that war will be waged 'from generation to generation' translates to a continuous renewal of your inner covenant; you do not search for victory outside, you assume a state of victory inside and let it reform your life. When you call Jehovahnissi, you tell your mind, 'My awareness itself is the banner of triumph.' This shifts the battle from blame to allegiance: you are loyal to a higher state, and Providence follows the inner alignment, gradually changing your circumstances to reflect the new consciousness.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and envision Moses erecting the altar Jehovahnissi within your mind. Feel the I AM as a bright banner over you and repeat, 'The LORD has sworn to protect my good; I am guided and victorious.'
