Read Exodus 16 in context

Scripture Focus

23And he said unto them, This is that which the LORD hath said, To morrow is the rest of the holy sabbath unto the LORD: bake that which ye will bake to day, and seethe that ye will seethe; and that which remaineth over lay up for you to be kept until the morning.
24And they laid it up till the morning, as Moses bade: and it did not stink, neither was there any worm therein.
Exodus 16:23-24

Biblical Context

God commands a holy Sabbath and instructs them to bake today, and to lay up any leftovers for the morning. The morning portion stays fresh and free from decay, a sign of divine preservation.

Neville's Inner Vision

Exodus 16:23-24 becomes a door to the inner kingdom. The manna is your supply, produced by the I AM that you are when you suspend restless desire and affirm the day’s sufficiency. To bake and seethe is to actively shape your thoughts and feelings in the present moment, using imagination to convert potential into realized form. The instruction to lay up leftovers until morning is a warning to keep a portion of your awareness intact through the night of appearances, stored in trust that it will not decay. When the morning portion did not stink nor worm, it is the literal symbol of your inner state: when you honor the Sabbath by quiet attention, your supply remains whole even as time passes. The Sabbath is not a week-day stoppage but a state of consciousness in which you acknowledge that all needs are met by the I AM. So you step into rest and watch your reality rearrange itself around that unwavering assumption.

Practice This Now

Assume the I AM is already supplying you today. Feel the abundance as present by resting in that inner Sabbath for a moment.
