Biblical Context
Moses instructs not to leave manna until morning; some disobey, and leftovers breed worms and stink. They gather manna each morning according to need, and on the sixth day they gather twice as much, with the rulers reporting to Moses.
Neville's Inner Vision
Your inner wilderness is the theater where God reveals your states. The manna is not food but the consciousness that appears as supply when you are awake to the I AM. Do not hoard it as if yesterday dawn could feed you today; to preserve it is to introduce decay, for the worms and the stench are your fear born memories showing that clingings of the old state cannot live in the new moment. Each morning, gather according to your present need, for your inner bell the sun of awareness melts any thought that tries to remain fixed. On the sixth day you discover a double portion because you have become sure that your mind can provide more when you dare to trust the day ahead. The rulers of the congregation are your inner judgments bringing reports about enough, and Moses is the quiet command within, urging obedience to the living law of supply. When you align with that inner command, you will see your life shaped by the very nourishment you imagined.
Practice This Now
Imaginative act: Assume the manna as your daily awareness; revise any lack thoughts by declaring I am fed by the I AM now; I gather a double portion for the day ahead, and feel it real. Sit with that feeling for a moment and let the sense of fullness settle.
