Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
In Exodus 16:13-15, quails come at evening and bread (manna) appears in the morning as God's provision. The people recognize it as divine nourishment.
Neville's Inner Vision
Imagine the quails as thoughts that arise when you relax into the moment and let desire settle. The dew around the camp is the waking awareness that a field of inner supply is already laid out by the I AM. When the dew lifts and a small round thing appears, you are presented with manna—the inner bread your consciousness supplies to itself. Israel’s declaration, It is manna, mirrors your inner recognition that your needs are provided by the activity of God within your mind, not by external conditions. Moses’ proclamation, This is the bread which the LORD hath given you to eat, reframes external events as inner law: you are fed by the Divine within, by the nourishment of your awakening, not by chance circumstances. Thus the quail-camp and the manna foreshadow the law of assumption: dwell in the consciousness of sufficiency and your outer world will reflect that truth. The practice rests on imagination: you are the architect of your experience when you accept the I AM as your sustenance.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes, assume the feeling of being nourished, and imagine the manna appearing in your palm as inner provision; whisper, 'I am fed by the I AM now.'
