Exodus 15:26 links healing to hearing the Lord and living righteously. Those who keep His commandments may experience healing as a natural result.
Neville's Inner Vision
In the inner economy of the soul, healing is not something done to you by an outside power, but a state you assume and dwell in. When the text says, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, hear the voice as the inner I AM—the perpetual consciousness that rules your world. To do that which is right is to align your present feeling with the truth of your unity with life; it is not moralizing from without, but consenting to your own divine pattern. Keeping all His statutes is daily discipline in thought, feeling, and choice—an inner obedience that harmonizes with health. The diseases of the Egyptians symbolize old mental images of fear, separation, and limitation; the promise is healing's revival as you awaken to your true state. When you accept that you are the Lord who healeth, your body registers your state of consciousness and begins to respond accordingly. The decree is simple: health is the natural expression of the I AM you entertain. Until you occupy that healing state, you remain outside of it; once you dwell there, healing is inevitable.
Practice This Now
Practice: In quiet, assume the feeling I am the Lord who heals. Nightly, revise fear and dwell in the health you intend, sensing your body already aligned with that state.
