Biblical Context
Exodus 15:14-16 depicts surrounding nations trembling at Israel's deliverance; the passage ends with the people passing over, purchased by the LORD.
Neville's Inner Vision
Fear is not a gathering of giants in the land; fear is the reaction of a mind clinging to separation. In this verse, the surrounding nations mirror the old beliefs that tremble at your dawning awareness of I AM, the one God-state within. When you hear the call to pass over, not by sword but by self-knowledge, the dukes and mighty men become amazed, trembling, and melt away as you consent to your true power. The arm of the Lord is not external—it is your own imaginative faculty when you stand in the present tense as I AM. You have been purchased by the LORD; you belong to the consciousness that sustains you, beyond time and event. As you hold this state, fear and dread fall away and the sea of limitation dries up before your advance. The deliverance is not future rescue but present alignment: you pass over within, and the outer world follows your inner assumption. Thus peace, shalom, settles on you as you reside in the certainty that you are the I AM, and creation follows your lead.
Practice This Now
Imaginative Act: Sit comfortably, close your eyes, and assume 'I AM' as your own state now. Feel the inner arm lift you above fear; imagine the old doubts melting as you pass over into your promised land.
