Inner Song of Deliverance
Exodus 15:1-3 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Exodus 15 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The people celebrate their release as God’s triumph over enemies. God is their strength, salvation, and dwelling, a fearless presence.
Neville's Inner Vision
Exodus 15:1-3 invites you to see the song as your inner declaration. The people sing not to a distant God but to the I AM you awaken within. The horse and rider cast into the sea become the old fear and its pursuit of you, swallowed by the sea of awareness when you fix your attention on the Lord as your strength and salvation. The Lord is my strength and my song, and he is become my salvation; this is the recognition that your I AM is the source of all victory, the very habitation you dwell in. To exalt him is to dwell in the inner temple you build with attention, faith, and gratitude. The Lord is a man of war is a declaration of inner power, a reminder that conflict ends where consciousness remains unshaken. When you imagine this, you are not narrating a past event but living the inner state of triumph here and now. Your worship is presence, your salvation is the awareness you choose to inhabit.
Practice This Now
Imaginative act: Assume the I AM as your habitation right now and feel the victory present in your chest. Revise any fear by repeating the inner song until the sense of salvation floods your day.
