Wheels Fall, Fear Flee

Exodus 14:25 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Exodus 14 in context

Scripture Focus

25And took off their chariot wheels, that they drave them heavily: so that the Egyptians said, Let us flee from the face of Israel; for the LORD fighteth for them against the Egyptians.
Exodus 14:25

Biblical Context

God disables the Egyptians' wheels to slow their pursuit. Israel is delivered, signaling divine protection and a shift in consciousness.

Neville's Inner Vision

Think of that moment as a picture of your inner world. The passage is not a history lesson but a revelation of how consciousness acts. The chariots’ wheels being ripped off symbolize the removal of habits and beliefs that kept you bound to fear and pursuit. When you dwell in the I AM—your complete awareness—the things that once moved you with urgency lose their grip; the Egyptians (your old fears) cry, 'Let us flee from the face of Israel,' for they sense the power you have invoked in your own mind. The LORD fights for them, meaning the inner Presence is active on your behalf the moment you acknowledge it. Your deliverance is a shift of inner posture, not a change of place. The inner boundary of separation dissolves; you are escorted by the Presence that already loves you, guiding you to safety, to rest, to victory. The scene is a call to live from the end: feel the healing now, and the outer scene must follow.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and enter the scene: imagine you are Israel, pursued by fear; suddenly the wheels of your chariots drop away. Feel the release as the pursuers retreat and you know the I AM defends you, and you are already free.
