Exodus Sea Crossing Within
Exodus 14:15-18 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Exodus 14 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Moses is told to move forward; God parts the sea for the Israelites, enabling a dry crossing, while the Egyptians are defeated, revealing the Lord's power.
Neville's Inner Vision
Within you, the moment of crisis is but a call to the next state of consciousness. The cry to Moses becomes a whisper to your own I AM: go forward in your awareness. The sea before you is not a wall of water but a current of veiled thoughts; lift the rod of imagination and stretch your hand over the imagined sea, and watch the barrier divide as your attention refuses the old pattern. You shall pass on dry ground because you have already accepted the truth of your being: I AM. The Egyptians—the old fears and habits—may appear to press in, but they are only messengers of the light that is about to dawn in you; I will harden their hearts to reveal the power and glory of the Lord in your life. When you finally witness that the LORD is the I AM within, the external drama dissolves into blessing, and you know salvation as a present, not a future, event.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and imagine the sea within your mind parting as you raise the rod of your inner vision; then walk forward on dry ground, knowing you are already where you intend to be.
