Biblical Context
Pharaoh's stubborn resistance triggers a divine sign against Egypt's firstborn; the passage then commands that what opens the womb be sacrificed, while the firstborn of the children are redeemed.
Neville's Inner Vision
Pharaoh represents the stubborn ego clinging to old patterns. The LORD's action exposes that any cherished habit must yield to the life awakening within you. The command to sacrifice all that opens the matrix invites you to consecrate outward expressions—the plans, actions, and appearances of your life—to the one consciousness you truly are. Yet the redemption of the firstborn of your children points inward: the new births of desire and intention are not separate from you but already yours in the I AM. In Neville’s terms, the old state dies so a higher self may manifest; outer signs of bondage fade as you align with the inner reality you choose to inhabit. The Passover becomes a state of mind: surrender the outward shows that bind you, and affirm the inward birth that you affirm as real in consciousness.
Practice This Now
Imaginative act: Sit quietly and declare, I AM consciousness, and feel the release of the old self. Then vividly picture redeeming the new births of desire as already mine, and enter that reality with a quiet, unwavering feel-it-real.
