Biblical Context
Israel’s obedience to the LORD’s command, as told in Exodus 12:50-51, culminates in their dramatic deliverance from Egypt. In Neville’s terms, that obedience mirrors a shift in consciousness: when you align with your I AM and act on inner direction, liberation follows.
Neville's Inner Vision
Think of the LORD's command to Moses and Aaron as your inner impulses given form by the I AM. To obey is to consent to the inner direction you already know, and to act as if it is done. The exodus described is not merely a beginning in history but a shift of your state of consciousness: out of bondage of fear, limitation, and memory into a liberated sense of self that proceeds by your faculties—faith, imagination, and decision. The selfsame day is the instant you refuse contradiction and commit to the inner command; the armies of disciplined thought, steady feeling, and decisive action align to carry you out of the land of limitation. Deliverance is not a distant event but a waking to your true I AM-sense. You are already free in the realm of consciousness; the world merely reflects that release when you fully claim it. Obedience, then, is not servitude but the recognition and acceptance of your divine self.
Practice This Now
Assume the feeling of the completed exodus now: affirm I am led by the I AM and obey the inner command. Visualize stepping from bondage into a bright, spacious land and carry that impression into your next decision.
