Read Exodus 12 in context

Scripture Focus

31And he called for Moses and Aaron by night, and said, Rise up, and get you forth from among my people, both ye and the children of Israel; and go, serve the LORD, as ye have said.
32Also take your flocks and your herds, as ye have said, and be gone; and bless me also.
Exodus 12:31-32

Biblical Context

Pharaoh summons Moses and Aaron by night, orders Israel to depart with their families and flocks to serve the LORD, and blesses Pharaoh as they go.

Neville's Inner Vision

Viewed through Neville's psychological scripture, Pharaoh's concession is not a historical accident but the moment when a newer state of consciousness outgrows a former one. The Israelites leaving Egypt symbolize your awareness stepping from bondage into true worship, where the I AM asserts its authority and you respond with obedience to the inner decree. The flocks and herds symbolize the ideas, beliefs, and conditions you marshal to support your new state; they come with you because you accept that life is ordered by the higher purpose you have chosen to serve. The command to rise up and go mirrors the inner decision to abandon the old dream and to walk in the light you imagine as real. When Pharaoh asks to be blessed, it shows the old self recognizing the supremacy of the new, a sign that your mind is ready to honor the revelation rather than resist it. In this Neville method, the external release merely mirrors the inner release: the exit from limitation is already complete in consciousness.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes, claim, 'I am free now,' and imagine yourself stepping from the old state as if it already happened. Linger in the grateful feeling and carry that certainty into the present moment.
