Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The Lord granted the people favor in the sight of the Egyptians, and Moses was held in high regard by Pharaoh's officials and by the people.
Neville's Inner Vision
To Neville, Exodus 11:3 is a map of inner life. The LORD giving favor to the people in the sight of the Egyptians is the I AM bestowing grace upon your present state of consciousness. The 'Egyptians' are your outer conditions and the appearances that seem to judge you. Moses, 'great in the land of Egypt,' represents the higher self—the authoritative idea you choose to inhabit. When you affirm this inner authority, your outer world begins to respond as though the vision were already true, for the inner state precedes the outward sign. The presence of God is the felt reality of that inner I AM, a quiet power within that draws support, opportunities, and a sense of rightful leadership. The grace is not a distant miracle but a revised sense of being that grows through repetition. Begin with the assumption that you are already favored in the eyes of your critics and neighbors, and let your day reflect that reality as you would a dream waking into light.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and assume you are already seen with favor by those who once doubted you. Silently affirm, 'I AM favored; I am Moses in my own life,' and feel the sensation of being supported.
