Exodus 11:1-3 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
God says there is one more plague to compel Pharaoh to release the Israelites, then they will be driven out. He tells them to borrow jewels from their neighbors, and God grants them favor in the sight of the Egyptians; Moses is noted as esteemed by both Pharaoh's servants and the people.
Neville's Inner Vision
All the told events are not history but a demonstration of inner states. Pharaoh is the stubborn ego, Egypt the bondage of limitation in your mind. When the voice declares one more plague and your release, it is your I AM announcing the shift of consciousness. The instruction to borrow jewels is a symbolic act: you are claiming the riches of your own inner kingdom—the gifts, talents, and resources already present in your consciousness. The favor God gives the people in the sight of the Egyptians is the favorable alignment of your inner States toward your desire, as if the subconscious hosts you with grace. Moses, and all the witnesses, stand in the land as those who are very great in the sight of Pharaoh’s servants; in Neville’s terms, this is the established, ordered state of awareness you have cultivated that can move the ego. And the final thrust out—being thrust out altogether—signifies the old self's complete transcendence, the end of bondage. So the scene is not a miracle out there; it is your inner world rearranging itself when you assume and feel the truth of liberation.
Practice This Now
Practice: Close your eyes, claim with the feeling, 'I am free now,' and imagine neighbors giving you jewels of silver and gold. Dwell in that sense of liberation until it feels real in your chest.
