Exodus 10:25-27 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Moses demands sacrifices and offerings for worship; the people insist that all their cattle and possessions go with them to serve the Lord, and Pharaoh refuses, while the Lord hardens his heart.
Neville's Inner Vision
To read Exodus 10:25-27 through Neville's inner lens, the demands are not about a distant caravan but about the altar you carry inside. Sacrifice and burnt offerings represent the state of consciousness you are required to assume: you offer the entire life you are aware of to the Lord, and you move with it. The cattle that go with you are your energies, time, and possessions—all that must accompany the act of worship if you are to serve the Lord in truth. And the line 'we know not with what we must serve the LORD, until we come thither' speaks to the awakening of imagination: the form of your service is revealed only as you enter the field of realization, not before. Pharaoh's hardening of heart is the ego's resistance to a higher way of being. The inner law is that once you choose the new state, the outer environment will align with it. Imaginatively, practice: assume you are already in possession of the required sacrifices; revise any sense of lack; feel it real that you are serving the Lord now, and let that conviction carry you forward.
Practice This Now
Imaginative act: Close your eyes, say 'I am the Lord's', and feel as if you are already offering all you have. Revise any lack or hesitation until your inner atmosphere shifts.
