Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Pharaoh's heart is hardened to keep Israel from leaving; darkness covers Egypt, while the Israelites have light in their dwellings. Moses demands worship and full sacrifice, including cattle, before departure.
Neville's Inner Vision
Pharaoh's stubborn heart and the Egyptian darkness are not distant events but inner states of your own consciousness. The 'hardening' is the refusal belief that you cannot choose a different feeling; the thick darkness that can be felt is the fear that shrouds your awareness when you doubt your power to change. In this scene, Israel's light amid the darkness is the imagination awakened within you, the awareness that knows the truth of your shepherd—your I AM, the I that feels and sees from within. The demand to take every hoof and to offer sacrifices represents your insistence that nothing of your life remain untouched by the worship you are waking to reveal. You do not know how you will serve the Lord until you step into the promise, until you align with the state that already serves. The three days of silence become a chamber for alignment; if you persist in the practiced assumption that you are already free and guided, the inner darkness recedes and the light you carry becomes your undeniable experience.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and envision yourself as Israel, with light in your dwelling; say 'I am free now, guided by my I AM' and feel the realization until it sinks in.
