Desolation to Growth, Inner Vision

Exodus 10:15 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Exodus 10 in context

Scripture Focus

15For they covered the face of the whole earth, so that the land was darkened; and they did eat every herb of the land, and all the fruit of the trees which the hail had left: and there remained not any green thing in the trees, or in the herbs of the field, through all the land of Egypt.
Exodus 10:15

Biblical Context

Locusts sweep across the land, darkening the earth and consuming all vegetation left by the hail, leaving Egypt barren.

Neville's Inner Vision

Exodus reports a land darkened by swarms, yet in the inner reading the darkness marks a state of consciousness. The land is your mind; the green things are your unmanifested possibilities. The locusts are dream-thoughts that have fed on your vitality, convincing you that nothing can grow. But you are not at the mercy of events; you are the I AM, the awareness that gives form to experience. When you notice a bleak landscape, revise the scene by assuming the opposite state: green shoots of health, doors opening, supply arriving. The outer plague becomes a signal that you must change your inner decree. Providence is not punishing you but inviting you to shift your state of being. The moment you refuse the old fear and affirm, 'I AM the lord of this land,' you begin to see regeneration where there was desolation. Imagination creates reality; by feeling it real that abundance is already present, you dissolve the darkness and awaken the green in your inner field.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and see a thriving landscape within your mind. Claim 'I AM' and feel the green returning as real now.
