The Inner Signs of I Am
Exodus 10:1-2 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Exodus 10 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Moses is sent to Pharaoh, and God hardens the king’s heart so His signs may be shown. The passage also invites you to carry this knowing to future generations, that the Lord is truly present.
Neville's Inner Vision
Let the scene of Exodus become a mirror of your inner world. The Pharaoh who hardens his heart is not a distant tyrant but the stubborn belief within you that refuses to yield to the I AM. God hardens the heart so that the signs may appear—not to prove God to Pharaoh, but to prove to your own consciousness how truly present the Lord is. The signs spoken of are inner demonstrations by which your awareness says, 'I am the Lord of this life.' When you hear that you must tell in the ears of your son and your son's son what is wrought in Egypt, you are rehearsing a memory of your power; you are teaching your future states of mind that the Lord is the only governor here. Your purpose is not to change external events first but to awaken your inner governor to awaken the world. So, align your mind with the assumption that you are the I AM, and watch the outer world begin to reflect the inner revelation.
Practice This Now
Assume the state 'I Am the Lord of this situation' and revise any doubt until it feels real; see in your mind the signs of change already present.
