Inner Reversal by Imagination
Esther 9:24-25 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Esther 9 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Haman's plot to destroy the Jews is exposed as a reversal against him; Esther's courage before the king brings the device back to its source and Haman's downfall ensues.
Neville's Inner Vision
Esther 9:24-25 speaks to the mind's inner geometry: a hostile thought-form (Haman) casts a lot against your welfare, and the conscious enemy would swallow the whole of your joy. Yet Esther's act before the king is the moment your awareness takes the seat of authority and asks what is the true decree of your life. The king's letters, which reverse Haman's device, are the inner law you set in motion by a new state of consciousness. In Neville's psychology, the outer event is but a visible result of an inner act. When you assume a state of mercy, protection, and justice, you trigger the reversal: the thought that would destroy is seen to be but a sensation arising in you. Providence is the ongoing operation of the I AM, not a distant fate, but your own awakened consciousness choosing again and again. The salvation is the inner alignment that makes the enemy undo itself, and redemption manifests as a new experience that confirms the truth you know about yourself: you are the ruler of your inner world.
Practice This Now
Practice: close your eyes, take a calm breath, and assume the deliverance you seek as already real. Repeat the I AM declaration quietly, feel it as truth, and envision Esther presenting the reversal to your inner king, until the feeling of relief remains.
