Esther 9:23

Biblical Context

The Jews renewed their resolve to continue what had begun, as Mordecai instructed. This is a picture of inner faithfulness: a held decision shaping outer events.

Neville's Inner Vision

Esther 9:23 invites you to see the inner law of continuance: you undertook and you keep. Mordecai in this interpretation is your inner decree, the authoritative word within your I AM that you have written into your life. When you read or recall that verse, you must feel that you have already begun the intended course, and you are faithfully following it now. This is how a spiritual state becomes external: by dwelling in the assumption that the plan is already in motion and that all events bend to its realization. So practice this: assume the end, revise doubt, and feel it real that you have completed the first step and will carry it through to its natural fruit. The outer world then reflects the inner loyalty—the consistency of your decision becomes the rhythm by which things progress.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes, recall a decision you have started, and declare softly, 'I have already begun and I will continue to completion.' Visualize the finished fruit of that decision as if it stands now in your life.
