Biblical Context

Esther 9:10 reports that the ten sons of Haman were slain by the Jews, but they did not take the spoil.

Neville's Inner Vision

In the theatre of consciousness, Haman represents a vestige of fear and the ten sons are ten habitual thoughts that would seize victory for personal gain. When the mind awakens to its true I AM, the outer scene confirms a complete victory over the false self, yet the mind remains untouched by the lure of the spoil—wealth, revenge, or status that once accompanied the old self. Not touching the spoil is not a denial of life but an alignment with divine justice already accomplished within. Providence and the Kingdom of God arise as inner conditions, not external conquests; they unfold wherever integrity is kept and the ego’s trophies are refused. The inner decree becomes, 'I am the I AM, unable to repay with violence and unwilling to cling to trophies; the ego’s spoils dissolve into the sea of awareness.' The world of appearances is a reflection of your state of consciousness, and your task is to acknowledge justice done in you while resting in that radiance of victory.

Practice This Now

Imaginative act: Sit quietly, declare 'I AM that I AM' and 'I do not touch the spoil of the ego,' then visualize the spoils dissolving and your mind resting in the victorious calm.
