Esther 8:10

Biblical Context

Esther 8:10 describes a royal decree written in the king's name, sealed with his ring, and sent by messengers to all provinces.

Neville's Inner Vision

Esther 8:10 shows a royal command issued in the king's name and sealed with the ring, sent forth by many messengers. In Neville's psychology, this is your inner I AM issuing a decree from the throne of awareness. The king stands for your higher self; the ring stands for unshakeable belief that you are the cause of your life. The messengers—horseback, mules, camels and dromedaries—mirror the speed and variety of your faculties: memory, imagination, will, inner speech—all carrying the command to every province of your mind. When you study this passage as a practice, you are learning to write in the king's name, seal with the ring, and dispatch a decree into your whole consciousness. Do not look to outer authorities; look to the I AM within and declare, in the present tense, that a situation now conforms to your inner decree. The moment this inner act is performed with conviction, the outer circumstances begin the turnaround, in exact proportion to your feeling of it as real.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and declare: I am the ruler of my inner kingdom; I write this decree in the name of the I AM, seal it with unwavering conviction, and send it to every mental province. Then dwell in the feeling of already having it, letting the outer circumstances align with that inner decree.
