Scripture Focus

6And Esther said, The adversary and enemy is this wicked Haman. Then Haman was afraid before the king and the queen.
Esther 7:6

Biblical Context

Esther identifies the wicked Haman as the adversary, and Haman trembles before the king and queen.

Neville's Inner Vision

Esther 7:6 reads as a map of consciousness rather than a historical incident. The 'adversary' is a state of mind you have allowed to appear as a rival will—fear, pride, or judgment—that stands between your awareness and its fulfillment. By naming 'the adversary and enemy,' Esther shows the moment your I AM refuses the belief that there is a separate power opposing you. The king and the queen symbolize two inner faculties—discernment and governance—brought under the sovereignty of Esther, the clear, awake awareness. When you recognize this inner movement, fear of Haman dissolves, for fear is the energy of a thought when faced with the reality that you are the I AM. The outer trembling of Haman before king and queen is the form your inner state takes once you have identified and revoked the old belief. Your imagination is the throne of this drama; declare now that only God reigns in you, and revise the scene from threat to providence. Return to the awareness that salvation is already within you, awaiting your conscious assent.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and identify the adversary as a passing thought form. Assume the state of I AM reigning now and revise it to, 'God only reigns in me,' then feel the fear dissolve as you experience it-real.
