Inner Silence to Disclosure

Esther 7:4-5 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Esther 7 in context

Scripture Focus

4For we are sold, I and my people, to be destroyed, to be slain, and to perish. But if we had been sold for bondmen and bondwomen, I had held my tongue, although the enemy could not countervail the king's damage.
5Then the king Ahasuerus answered and said unto Esther the queen, Who is he, and where is he, that durst presume in his heart to do so?
Esther 7:4-5

Biblical Context

Esther acknowledges that her people face destruction. She notes that under different circumstances she would have kept silent, but the king's inquiry compels disclosure.

Neville's Inner Vision

Esther's predicament is your inner crucible where a threat of destruction represents a fear belief. The sold to be destroyed is a consciousness convinced that life is at the mercy of alien powers. In Neville terms the king is your Higher Self the I AM that rules your inner kingdom. The real foe is not a king or decree but a thought form born of fear and habit. Esther's remark that she would have held her tongue if they had been sold as bondmen reveals two inner possibilities: either capitulate to the imagined doom or call forth the truth of your sovereign power. When the king asks who is he and where is he durst presume in his heart to do so you are given a choice identify the enemy as a mistaken assumption and declare who is truly in charge. The moment you recognize that you are the one who commands the enemy's power dissolves because you withdraw belief from it. The deliverance comes not by arguing with circumstances but by changing the assumption about who you are and therefore what your surroundings reflect. Stand in your I AM and speak from that state and the threatened scene shifts into protection guidance and redemption.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and assume the state of I AM as the king within you. Silently declare that you are the power that speaks here, and feel the scene shift as fear dissolves into safety.
