Esther's Inner Petition Realized
Esther 7:2-4 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Esther 7 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Esther pleads for her life and her people, revealing a grave threat. The king grants mercy and protection, even beyond the ordinary limits, when trust and truth meet the moment.
Neville's Inner Vision
Esther in this scene is the inner state of favor your I AM can assume. The banquet of wine is the elevated feeling of abundance, where you sense life ready to answer because you have already decided you belong to a kingdom that cannot be harmed. Esther says, let my life be given me at my petition, and my people at my request, not as a plea but as a decree. In Neville’s sense, sights, sounds, and figures are movements of consciousness, not a census of facts; the king represents your awareness, the I AM that says, It shall be granted thee, and it shall be performed. The threat of destruction is a belief in limitation; when you refuse to accept it, you align with the truth that redemption is your native state. If you dwell in the assumption of safety and honor, the sense of danger dissolves as a dream does when the morning light reaches it. You do not petition for mercy; you declare mercy is your natural spring.
Practice This Now
Imaginative_act: Sit quietly and assume the truth: I am loved, protected, and living in favor. Feel the kingly assurance as real now, and revise any fear into the certainty that redemption is already granted.
