Biblical Context
King Ahasuerus arranges royal garments, a horse, and the crown to honor the man the king delights to honor. Mordecai is led through the streets in this regal procession and proclaimed as the honored one.
Neville's Inner Vision
In this scene the king is your I AM, the royal apparel your beliefs about yourself, the horse your thoughts in motion, and the crown your sense of dignity. The man the king delights to honor is the inner self that has awakened to its worth through the awareness that God is within. Honor here is not earned from without but disclosed from within as you align your inner state with the truth of your unity with the divine Presence. When you imagine Mordecai as the honored one, you are really honoring a virtue in yourself that has waited to be acknowledged. Practice the simple ascent: assume the feeling of being the beloved of the king, see the crown upon your head, hear the streets proclaim your value, and let the inner ceremony rewrite your sense of self. As you dwell in that realization, your outer world can follow the ordered motion of your consciousness.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and assume the state of the man the king delights to honor. Visualize royal garments, a crown, and a public proclamation of your worth, then feel that honor as present reality.
