Esther 5:5-6

Biblical Context

Esther 5:5-6 shows Esther inviting the king to a banquet, then requesting a petition which is promised to be granted, even to half the kingdom. The scene points to how grace and influence arise when the inner state is aligned with the desired outcome.

Neville's Inner Vision

Esther 5:5-6 can be read as a vivid map of the inner life. The king represents the I AM, the seat of awareness and authority within you. The banquet is the intimate space where you focus your attention on a desired state and welcome its presence. When Esther asks, you are simply naming a state you already inhabit in possibility; when the king offers to grant the petition, you are recognizing the law of imagination at work—that your disciplined assumption can produce external effects. The line about granting 'to the half of the kingdom' is not a limit but an emblem of abundant supply available to the whole inner kingdom, awaiting your consent. By imagining the scene as real now, by feeling yourself already in possession of the outcome, you revise the state of consciousness that gives rise to events. The key is to dwell in the feeling of the wish fulfilled until it becomes your living standard.

Practice This Now

Sit quietly and imagine the inner banquet, seeing the I AM seated as king. Assume the feeling of the wish fulfilled, revise until you know it is done, and dwell in gratitude as the state becomes your reality.
