Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Haman manipulates the king by portraying a scattered people as dangerous because of their different laws. The verse frames fear-driven separation as an inner dynamic of consciousness.
Neville's Inner Vision
Within the inner sanctuary of your consciousness, there is only one people—the I AM, the abiding awareness that you are. Haman's speech is not about a distant empire; it is the voice of fear that seeks to divide the kingdom by asserting there are laws apart from the one law you serve. The 'people' scattered among provinces are the many facets of your mind considered as separate from your central I AM. The claim that their laws are diverse and that they do not keep the king's laws corresponds to the belief that certain attitudes or tendencies cannot be aligned with your highest command. In truth, every appearance of 'law' outside your own is but a projection of your inner stance. When you imagine yourself as the king, recognizing that you are the author of every decree, you can revise the scene: there are no separate peoples to judge, only aspects of your mind awaiting reintegration. The true profit is the harmony of all inner laws under the single governing principle of love and wholeness, dissolving exile in the fullness of awareness.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes, breathe, and imagine you are the king who writes one law for all. Revise every fearful decree by affirming that all people and laws are expressions of your mind, and choose unity.
