Read Esther 2 in context

Scripture Focus

13Then thus came every maiden unto the king; whatsoever she desired was given her to go with her out of the house of the women unto the king's house.
Esther 2:13

Biblical Context

Esther 2:13 shows each maiden going to the king, and whatever she desires is granted, moving from the house of the women to the king’s house.

Neville's Inner Vision

Your inner life is the scene of Esther’s procession. The 'maiden' is any state of consciousness within you, each longing to approach the king—your I AM, the present awareness that rules all. When she asks, she does not beg in a world of lack but aligns with the royal prerogative of God within. The phrase 'whatsoever she desired was given her' is the law of consciousness: when you dwell in the king’s presence with a clear image and a steady desire, the inner order grants it and dissolves the barrier between the house of the women and the king's house. Therefore, every wish is not a future event but a talent already resident in you, waiting for your acknowledgment. If you cling to lack, you stay among the women; if you assume the feeling of the wish fulfilled—of already being in the king's company—you move into the king's house where grace and authority flow. This is the Kingdom of God in practice: revise the story from absence to presence until your outward world reflects the inner decree, and you walk as the sovereign of your realm.

Practice This Now

Choose a single desire. Close your eyes, rest in the feeling of already having it, and imagine stepping from the house of the women into the king’s house with your wish in hand.
