Esther 2:1 Inner Remembrance

Esther 2:1 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Esther 2 in context

Scripture Focus

1After these things, when the wrath of king Ahasuerus was appeased, he remembered Vashti, and what she had done, and what was decreed against her.
Esther 2:1

Biblical Context

The king, after his wrath subsides, recalls Vashti and the decree that had been issued against her.

Neville's Inner Vision

Picture the king as the I AM in you, the throne of awareness. Wrath is not an enemy but energy stirring unconscious patterns. When the heat dies, that I AM recalls Vashti—not to condemn her, but to reveal a former state of self that once wore a decreed fate. The decree against Vashti is not a distant edict but an inner verdict you once gave to a part of yourself—the rebellious, the refused, the outcast within. Now, in the cool of consciousness, you see it as memory, a script that no longer serves. The Kingdom of God within responds not with external punishment, but with the possibility to revise: you can present a new decree, one that honors dignity, balance, and justice. Your remembrance becomes the instrument of transformation. By you acknowledging the I AM's authority to rewrite, you dissolve the old law and awaken a fresh order—mercy, order, and right action—in your inner realm.

Practice This Now

Imaginative Act: Sit quietly, declare I AM as king of your inner realm, and revise the decree you are carrying. Say, 'From this moment I release the old judgment and establish mercy, justice, and balance in my inner kingdom,' and feel that new decree as already done.
