Read Ephesians 6 in context

Scripture Focus

21But that ye also may know my affairs, and how I do, Tychicus, a beloved brother and faithful minister in the Lord, shall make known to you all things:
22Whom I have sent unto you for the same purpose, that ye might know our affairs, and that he might comfort your hearts.
Ephesians 6:21-22

Biblical Context

Paul sends Tychicus to inform the believers of his affairs and to comfort their hearts. The passage points to inner communication and the presence of God as the source of peace within the community.

Neville's Inner Vision

Your mind is Paul and Tychicus, a faithful messenger in the Lord, moving through your awareness to make known your affairs. The intention to know your affairs becomes a practice: you know what you are imagining, you know what you are feeling, and you let that knowledge settle into your heart as comfort. The inner messenger is not a external envoy but the quiet, loyal presence of I AM. In this sense, the same purpose is to remind you that you already know within; the unity of the body manifests as the harmony between thought and feeling. The peace of Shalom arises when you trust that your inner world is being tended by God, and that comfort comes through clear, compassionate inner communication. By allowing this messenger to do its work, you maintain faith—that you are never abandoned by the divine presence, but lovingly guided to rest in the truth of your own consciousness.

Practice This Now

Assume the role of Tychicus in your mind and deliver a message of knowledge and comfort to your heart. Silently state I know my affairs and I am comforted by the presence of God, and feel your heart rest into this faith.
