Inner Armor of Faith
Ephesians 6:10-12 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Paul urges believers to be strong in the Lord and to put on the armor of God so they can stand against the devil's schemes. He states that the real struggle is not with people, but with spiritual forces resisting truth and light.
Neville's Inner Vision
Viewed through the lens of the I AM, the exhortation is not about external armor but about inner alignment. 'Be strong in the Lord' invites you to anchor your sense of self in the power you are, the awareness that you are the living consciousness that can imagine and thus realize. The 'armor of God' is the mental atmosphere you assume: truth becomes your clarity, righteousness your right standing as coherent awareness, faith your steady expectancy, salvation your release from fear, the gospel of peace your settled composure. The 'wiles of the devil' are merely the habitual thoughts and pictures that would mis-create your world; you stand against them by not entertaining them. Remember, we wrestle not against flesh and blood; the real battle is with principles and powers formed by your own imagination. By choosing to live from the end (already having the state you seek), you clothe yourself in the invincible armor that dispels darkness. The work is inward, continuous, and immediate: imagine the end and dwell there until it feels natural.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes, breathe, and silently assume: 'I am the Lord's strength; I am armored with truth and faith; I stand in the reality of this new state.' Then revise anxious thoughts by gently replacing them with this end-state belief and feel it real.
