The Inner Fruit of Spirit
Ephesians 5:9 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Ephesians 5 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The verse says the fruit of the Spirit shows up as goodness, righteousness, and truth in daily life. It points to an inner quality that expresses itself outwardly.
Neville's Inner Vision
In this line, the fruit of the Spirit is not a distant list but an inner state. The I AM within you is already whole; when you realize that your consciousness is the source of goodness, righteousness, and truth, those fruits begin to walk your life. Imagination is the instrument by which you awaken to this harvest. Do not chase virtue as if it were apart from you; assume you are the living embodiment of it now, and feel the reality until it lights every thought, word, and deed. The fruit appears as a natural expression of your present state, not as a future achievement. By aligning your inner I AM with these qualities, your outer world follows, for consciousness fashions form and you are that consciousness.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and assume the state: 'I am goodness, I am righteousness, I am truth,' feeling the truth of these qualities as already mine in this moment.
