Inner Submission in God Presence
Ephesians 5:21 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Ephesians 5 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
In Ephesians 5:21, believers are urged to submit to one another out of reverence for God, cultivating humility, love, and unity within the community.
Neville's Inner Vision
Submit one to another in the fear of God is not a command to yield to others’ control, but a call to awaken a state of consciousness where you recognize the I AM within you and within all others. When you acknowledge that the Divine I AM reveres the Divine in another, you release domination and defend-insecurity patterns and yield to the good of the whole. Humility becomes a source of power, for you revise your image of how life should unfold and allow the feeling of unity to reign. In that reverent awareness, external conditions bend to your inner harmony: conflicts dissolve, cooperation arises, and mutual submission flows as the One Life manifests in many forms, yet remains one.
Practice This Now
Assume the feeling that you and every person are expressions of the same I AM; revise your scene of relationships until mutual submission feels natural.
