The Light That Reveals Within

Ephesians 5:13 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Ephesians 5 in context

Scripture Focus

13But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever doth make manifest is light.
Ephesians 5:13

Biblical Context

The verse says that things reproved are made visible by light. What shows up under illumination is itself light.

Neville's Inner Vision

Your inner light is the I AM that reads every thought and feeling. When something within you is reproved—exposed as lacking by your own judgment—the light of awareness simply makes it visible to consciousness. This is not punishment but revelation: every condition you see outwardly is a reflection of a state you are currently entertaining in imagination. If you notice limitation or fear, do not condemn yourself; use the moment to revise. Decide that you are the awareness that can choose a different state, and then assume that state as already real. Hold it with feeling until the new light begins to dominate your sense of possibility. As you persist, the external scene begins to shift to match the illuminated inner state. Remember the themes: truth, incarnation, accountability. You are not at the mercy of events; you are the creator who lays hold of vision through steady, faithful attention. The light does the exposing, and your decision to remain in the new state completes the manifestation.

Practice This Now

Sit quietly, assume the state you desire as already real (for example, abundant ease). Feel it fully and declare, 'I am the light that reveals my truth; I now inhabit the state I choose.'
