One Body Within: Ephesians 4:4-6

Ephesians 4:4-6 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Ephesians 4 in context

Scripture Focus

4There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;
5One Lord, one faith, one baptism,
6One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.
Ephesians 4:4-6

Biblical Context

Paul declares a divine unity: there is one body and one Spirit. All share one hope, one Lord, one faith, one baptism, and one God above, through, and in all.

Neville's Inner Vision

There is not a multitude of separate selves here, but a single field of consciousness in which all appearances arise. The body you see is a symbol of the one body of your awareness; the Spirit that animates all is the eternal Life within your I AM. Your calling, hope, faith, and baptism are not external events but internal states awaiting realization. To grasp this, dissolve the illusion of separation and revise your mind to see others as expressions of your own consciousness. The Lord you acknowledge is not a person outside you but the Life that moves within; the Father of all is your own I AM, the sovereign authority above, through, and in you. When you rest in this unity, you awaken to the truth that God dwells in you all and moves as one current through every part. Your world shifts in response to this alignment, revealing that nothing exists outside the one inner state.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes for a few minutes and declare I AM ONE with the body, with Spirit, with all. Feel that unity as you breathe, revise any sense of separation, and dwell in the feeling of being the one life uniting all parts.
